Mikveh Membership Dues Structure

The following is an outline of the three levels of mikveh membership.  Each level entitles the member family to different benefits.  Please read each description to select your level of membership.

Mikveh Patrons  $500 annually ($515 by PayPal)

  • Allows women free use for tevillas nashim.
  • Allows unlimited use for immersing dishes.
  • Allows men free use daily.
  • Allows women free use on Erev Yom Kippur.
  • Allows your family’s houseguests free use for all of the above.

Full Membership $360 annually ($370 by PayPal)

  • Allows women free use for tevillas nashim.
  • Allows unlimited use for immersing dishes.
  • Allows men free use on Erev Shabbos and Erev Yom Tov.
  • Allows women free use on Erev Yom Kippur.

If you choose this option, you will need to pay separately for men’s daily use. 

Basic Membership $180 annually ($185 by PayPal)

  • Allows unlimited use for immersing dishes.
  • Allows men free use on Erev Yom Tov.
  • Allows women free use on Erev Yom Kippur.

If you choose this option, you will need to pay separately for tevillas nashim ($20 due at the time of usage), and for men’s use on Erev Shabbos or daily. 

Please make every effort to join as a mikveh member. We all have a stake in the mikveh as the most fundamental institution of Jewish life. Your annual membership supports the continued existence of our mikveh.

Mikveh Fees for Non-Members

If you choose not to become a member of MLARI, the following are the rates for mikveh usage:

Tevillas nashim: $20 per visit ($21 if by PayPal), due at the time of usage (or $29 — $30 if by PayPal — if preparation is more than 45 minutes) 

Immersing dishes: $5 per visit  

Men’s use: $3 per visit or $10 per week

Attendant Schedule

SARS-CoV-2 update: Please bring your own towel, except on Erev Shabobs or Erev YomTov. The cleaning lady is now coming daily (except for Saturdays) and disinfecting with bleach. The attendants disinfect between users. Please do not come to the mikveh if you have any symptoms of illness or if you are required to isolate at home or self-quarantine according to RI regulations. Current RI state regulations are at https://health.ri.gov/diseases/ncov2019/ 

Who should be in home isolation

  • Anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 – either by a laboratory test or through symptom assessment by a healthcare provider – must self-isolate. People in isolation must stay at home and stay in isolation until At least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery defined as resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath) AND at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

Who should be quarantined due to high risk for developing COVID-19?

  • Anyone arriving from a location outside of the 50 US states or the District of Columbia for 14 days after returning.  
  • Anyone entering Rhode Island from  states and locales found here.
  • Close contacts of someone who has symptoms of COVID-19, even if they haven’t been tested, for 14 days following contact.
